OTC Asia is happening virtual this year. It is the platform where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.
NGLTech has again been awarded with two (2) Spotlight on New Technology Award for our two (2) new innovative technologies namely Multifunctional Production Unit (MPU) and Volatile Organic Compound Recovery System (VOC-RS).
NGLTech runs successful event at OTC Asia 2018
NGLTech showcased it's award winning technologies for the third time at OTC Asia 2018. The bi-annual event which was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from the 20th -23rd of March saw a myriad of Oil & Gas players both international and local come together for the 4-day event. Special to NGLTech this year was winning 2 awards at the Technology Spotlight Award organized by the OTC Committee.
The proprietary Sep-iSYS Cyclonic Sand Removal System and Low Pressure Condensate Recovery System proving to be game changers in the Oil & Gas industry bagged awards amidst international giants such as ConocoPhillips and Schlumberger.

NGLTech proud sponsors at SPE SMOGC 2017
NGLTech participated as one of the sponsors for the SPE Student Chapter Malaysia Oil and Gas Convention 2017 event, which was held from November 1-2, 2017 at Residensi UTM, Kuala Lumpur. The theme ”Cultivating resilient, resourceful, and challenging young talents towards the new norm.”, was the focus for this year's event. It was aimed to revitalize students and young minds to be a part of the effort to broaden knowledge regarding oil and gas industry, development of human capital and awareness of global environmental sustainability.
EPC Delivery of Low-Pressure Condensate Recovery System (LP-CRS) for Erb West Field, Offshore Sabah
NGLTech hosted its loadout ceremony of the LP-CRS for Erb West field on Thursday, 18 April 2019 at Pasir Gudang. The contract was awarded to NGLTech on 28 May 2018 by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (SBA).
The LP-CRS was successfully loaded out on 18 April 2019 and sailed away on 20 April 2019. The ceremony was attended by PETRONAS representatives from Sabah Assets (SBA) and Peninsular Malaysia Assets (PMA).
Ir. Aruljothy, Managing Director of NGLTech stated “While reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the LP-CRS is a game-changing technology that increases oil production via recovery of hydrocarbons from unwanted flare gas”.
He added “This is our third LP-CRS unit successfully delivered with the first LP-CRS unit successfully delivered in September 2016 for Vestigo’s Anjung Kecil field and the second unit was successfully delivered in October 2018 for Vestigo’s Tembikai field. This further strengthens PETRONAS’s trust in us in delivering one of our innovative and proprietary technologies for the improvement and enhancement of processes in the production facilities of the upstream Oil & Gas industry”.
