NSTA Tech Talk: reinstating shut-in wells from the surface.
Shut-in wells are a UK-wide opportunity. On 30 September, NGLTech joined an NSTA Tech Talk to show how a surface unit can help suitable wells produce again.

Reactivation that ties in at the surface.
On 30 September 2026, NGLTech presented the Enhanced LPPU™ at a Tech Talk with the UK North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA).
As always, the starting point is each well’s own data.
The regulator’s own figures frame the opportunity: 558 UKCS shut-in wells of a 2,298-well stock at the end of 2025, and 56 wells reinstated in 2025, adding 16 million barrels (NSTA, 11 August 2026).
The talk focused on the surface side of that picture: wells that can no longer overcome the pressure of the common production header, and a liquid-piston booster that ties in at the surface. As always, the starting point is each well’s own data.
For UK delivery and in-field support, NGLTech works with Aberdeen-based Adaptive Process Solutions (APS).
